Since 1997, members of Just Another Guru have been together and performing in the Greater Boston area.  The music is a mix of the songs we have loved over decades of being music fans and musicians and an extensive list of original tunes that combine our varied influences. The Just Another Guru sound can be a bit funky, occasionally folky, very Americana, classic rockish, and absolutely bluesy.  Electric guitar and harmonica solos, are as much a part of the sound as is cool percussion instruments and rich harmonies.  Come check it out… we play songs you want to hear and many you may have never heard.

Interested in the story of the band?  Click here.  Wondering where we have played… We have played in many bars in Metro West Boston, on Cape Cod in New Hampshire and deep in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Performances have also taken place in many private homes, at weddings, bar mitzvahs and at quite a few birthday party bashes! We love any place to play music. It is our passion, our release, our fun and our way to share some music we love with others.
